In general, fast food is never a good choice, but if it is your only alternative, stick to our fast food eoselections.
Fast Food Tips
| • | Try your best to limit fast food to no more than once a week. |
| • | In any food category where there are multiple entries, fast food eoselections are listed in order of least damage to most damage to your menu plan. |
| • | Eliminate one snack or dessert for each fast food meal. |
| • | Never eat a side and a dessert in the same fast food meal, unless the side is a side salad or steamed vegetables. French fries should always be considered an Indulgence. |

| • | Never use fast food salad dressings. Always keep your favorite fat free salad dressing handy for trips to a fast food restaurant. |
| • | Steer clear of fried items, drinks other than water, coffee, tea, or diet drinks, and unlisted dessert items at fast food restaurants. |
| • | Do not use fast food sauces. |
| • | Eliminate or limit toppings (e.g. croutons, noodles, etc.). |
